My basic idea that for the meantime I wish to continue developing is taken from the categories from the European Youth Awards. Specifically; active citizen ship.
Basic idea
- An app/ or website
- UK based
- A crowdfunding site for non-profit organisations or charities
- Search bar and categorisation of projects etc: a-z, or specific topics such as animal welfare, refugee crisis or homelessness
- Further development beyond simple donations; the ability to volunteer for local organisations
- User could perform a local search in order to find non-profit and charities that are calling for volunteers and apply directly through the app
- News on successfully funded projects, how they are continuing to help
- Tips on how to help the community and further local projects users can get involved with
- Reward system for donators e.g in app badges, projects could offer rewards to donators as incentives
- Reward system for volunteers e.g in app badges and strengthening CV
